 AMQA (Australian Machine Quilters Association) has a lot of information about long arm quilting, machines and quilters.  KoolKat is a member of this respected association.

Magazines - we recommend Australian Patchwork and Quilting, Quilters Companion and a new on-line publication The Quilt Pattern Magazine.

Queensland Quilters has an annual quilt show each October, held in conjunction with the Quilt and Craft Fair, Brisbane.  You can enter or just exhibit your quilt, enjoy the show, and also the wonderful Craft Fair with heaps of new products and workshops to choose from.  See you there!  Also - if you become a member of 2Q (Queensland Quilters) for a very reasonable rate, you will have access to fantastic workshops, events and a great library which is also available to country members.

Squilters is an internet based briendship group for quilters.  You need to be a resident of Australia or New Zealand to be a member, and there is also a commercial section where you can browse for bargains.

Toowoomba Quilters Club Inc - my local club.  A wonderful guild to belong to.  They have a fantastic quilt show each year during the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers.  During the year, members meet regularly for stitching fun, workshops and social events.

Cowpaddocks Patchwork  is a patchwork shop run by Julie Latcham located on her property "Toomba" just off the Warrego Highway near Dulacca west of Toowoomba. Julie has a blog which is worth visiting to see what quilters are up to in these parts!
